Travelers Hail Damage Claim Help in Denver, Colorado

When a storm crosses Denver the phone calls start the same way: the vehicle is dimpled, the policy is with Travelers, and nobody is sure what happens next. Colorado Dent Solutions handles the repair side of that question. We inspect the vehicle under reflection lighting, write down exactly what is on each panel, and give you documentation you can put in front of your Travelers adjuster.

Travelers hail claims, handled by a Denver-area PDR shop

Our role is technical and it is narrow on purpose. We tell you which impacts paintless dent repair can address on your Denver vehicle, which cannot be repaired that way because the paint is cracked or the metal is overstretched, and what a mixed repair would involve. Travelers decides the claim.

Travelers writes both personal and commercial auto in Colorado, and after a significant storm the two arrive together: a family sedan parked on a residential street and a fleet of work vehicles parked in an open yard, all hailed on the same afternoon.

We handle both. Fleet vehicles are documented unit by unit with per-vehicle dent maps so a single claim file can be reconciled cleanly, and repairs are scheduled to keep as much of the fleet on the road as possible.

    Step by step

How a Travelers hail claim works in Denver

    1. 01

      Free inspection

Send photographs or bring the vehicle in. Every horizontal panel is read under reflection lighting, which shows shallow hail that daylight hides.

    2. 02

      Damage documented

Impacts are mapped panel by panel and counted by size band, along with paint condition, aluminium panels and any cracked trim.

    3. 03

      Written estimate

A paintless dent repair estimate is prepared in the format carriers expect, ready for you to submit or for us to send to your adjuster.

    4. 04

      Carrier review

Your adjuster reviews the file and makes the coverage decision. Hidden damage found once trim is off is submitted as a supplement.

    5. 05

      Paintless repair

Technicians work each dent from behind the panel with rods and glue-pull tools. No sanding, no filler, no spray booth.

    6. 06

      Final walk-through

Every repaired panel is re-read under the reflection board from several angles, and we walk the finished work with you before pickup.

    Paintless repair versus conventional bodywork

Most Denver hail vehicles qualify for paintless dent repair on at least part of the damage. Where they do not, we say so before work starts rather than after.

    Paintless dent repair

    • Factory paint stays on the vehicle
    • No filler and no colour matching
    • Panel reshaped from behind with rods and glue pulls
    • Typically fewer days off the road than a refinish
    • Standard, widely written method on hail estimates

    Conventional refinish

    • Panel is sanded, filled and refinished
    • Colour match and blend into neighbouring panels
    • Paint history on an otherwise original panel
    • Booth time and cure schedule extend the repair
    • Necessary where paint is cracked or metal overstretched

    Estimates and supplements

What happens when the numbers do not match

A first hail estimate reflects what the first inspection could see. Once the vehicle is lit properly and trim comes off, the count often changes. That difference is submitted to Travelers as a supplement, with photographs and per-panel dent counts attached, for your adjuster's consideration.

    • Nothing additional is repaired before the scope is agreed with you
    • Documentation is factual: counts, sizes, paint condition, access notes
    • We never describe work that was not performed
    • Coverage, deductible and claim decisions remain with Travelers

Hail in Denver, and where vehicles get caught

Denver sits in City and County of Denver, and local geography shapes what we see: storms that build to the west track out across I-25 and the surrounding neighbourhoods, catching vehicles that were parked for the working day. Our team serves drivers throughout Denver and nearby Front Range communities from our shop at 7280 Gilpin Way. We inspect the entire vehicle, explain what can be repaired with PDR, discuss other repair options when needed and help customers understand the insurance-repair process.

Travelers hail claim questions from Denver drivers

Yes. Fleet and multi-vehicle hail claims are documented per unit, VIN, panel map, dent counts by size band and photographs for each vehicle, so the carrier receives one organised file rather than a bundle of loose estimates. Scheduling is staged so a business is never without the vehicles it needs on a given day. Tell us the fleet size and where the vehicles are parked at the inspection stage and we will build a sequence around your operating schedule.

No. We are an independent paintless dent repair facility and we are not affiliated with, certified by or endorsed by Travelers or any other insurer. We work for the vehicle owner: we document the damage, write the estimate and answer the adjuster's technical questions when you ask us to.

Yes. In Colorado the vehicle owner chooses the repair facility. Travelers may suggest shops in its network, and those programmes exist to streamline estimating and billing, but a suggestion is not a requirement. Tell your adjuster which shop you intend to use, that can be done when the claim is opened or later, even after an initial estimate has been written. Your policy terms and deductible are unchanged by that choice.

That gap is normal on hail work and it is handled through the supplement process, not absorbed. We document the additional eligible damage with photographs and dent counts by size band and submit it for your adjuster's consideration. No additional work starts before the scope is agreed, and we never describe work that was not performed.

Photograph the vehicle in good light from a low angle so the dents read, then send those photos through the form on this page. If you plan to file a comprehensive claim, contact your insurer as well; coverage and deductible are set by your policy.

Yes. We serve vehicles from neighbourhoods across Denver, all repaired at our single north Denver shop on Gilpin Way. Neighbourhood references describe the communities we serve, not additional shop locations.
