Technicians reach behind the panel and work the metal back to its original shape, or use glue-pull tabs from the surface where there is no access. It suits the rounded, shallow dents hail leaves. Eligibility still depends on paint condition, metal stretch, dent depth and panel access, which is confirmed in person under reflection lighting.

    Your deductible is set by your policy. We give you a realistic time range once the damage map is complete, not before.

    That is the aim of paintless dent repair. Eligible dents are reshaped without sanding, filler or respraying, so your factory paint and clear coat stay on the vehicle and there is no refinish record on the panel. Where hail has cracked or chipped the paint, or stretched the metal too far, that area falls outside PDR and we will tell you before work begins.

    Photograph every panel in good, angled light, park under cover if you can, and report the damage to your insurer within the window your policy sets. Do not try dry ice, heat guns or pressing the dents out yourself, as those attempts can stretch metal and reduce what paintless repair can achieve. Then book a hail damage assessment so the damage is documented properly.

    Often, yes. High dent counts alone do not rule out paintless repair; the limiting factors are cracked paint, sharp-edged impacts, badly stretched metal and panels with no access behind them. On heavier storm damage we usually map the vehicle panel by panel and note where PDR applies and where conventional refinishing is the honest recommendation.
