Local paintless dent repair shop in Denver, CO

Denver dent repair for everyday dings, dents & hail damage

Colorado drivers deal with more than hail damage. Door dings happen in crowded parking lots, shopping carts roll into vehicle panels, minor bumps leave dents in fenders, and Colorado roads can be hard on a vehicle. When the paint is still intact, many of these dents may be repairable without conventional bodywork.

Colorado Dent Solutions provides paintless dent repair in Denver, CO for door dings, shopping cart dents, hail damage, creases, body-line dents, minor collision dents and qualifying large dents. Whether you need door ding repair in Denver after a parking-lot mishap or hail damage repair in Denver after a Colorado storm, our PDR specialists can inspect the damaged panel and determine whether paintless repair is the right option.

We also see vehicles with combinations of damage, including dents accompanied by rock chips, paint chips or scratches. Paintless dent repair reshapes qualifying dents, but it does not replace missing or damaged paint. We’ll assess the entire damaged area and explain what PDR can repair before any work begins.

Located in Denver and serving drivers throughout Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Commerce City, Northglenn, Wheat Ridge, Englewood, Littleton, Centennial and surrounding Denver metro communities, Colorado Dent Solutions makes it easy to find an experienced PDR shop near Denver for everything from a single annoying door ding to widespread Colorado hail damage.

PDR vs. traditional body shop repair

A more affordable way to repair dents without repainting

Where the factory paint is still intact and the damage qualifies, paintless dent repair reshapes the original metal instead of filling and refinishing it. Where the paint is cracked or the metal is overstretched, conventional body repair remains the right answer, and we will tell you so.

    Paintless dent repair

    Traditional body shop repair

    Factory paint

Preserved when the dent qualifies for PDR

Panel is refinished, so factory paint is replaced

    Filler and sanding

Generally not needed on qualifying dents

Filler and sanding are often part of the repair

    Color matching

No repainting or blending when PDR qualifies

Paint is mixed, sprayed, blended and cured

    Repair steps

Typically fewer steps: read the panel, reshape the metal

Prep, filler, sand, prime, paint, cure, reassemble

    Turnaround

    Often faster for qualifying dents

Paint and cure stages extend the timeline

    Cost

Often more affordable for qualifying dents

Materials and refinishing labor add to the bill

Every vehicle is different. Paint condition, dent location, depth and how far the metal has stretched all decide whether paintless dent repair is the right method, so we assess each panel before quoting.

    Denver hail & insurance

From the storm to the repair

Most hail work runs alongside a comprehensive claim. Here is the sequence, and where the line sits between what we do and what your carrier decides.

    1. 01

      Damage documented

The vehicle is inspected and the damage is recorded panel by panel.

    2. 02

      You contact your carrier

You open the claim; your policy governs coverage and deductible.

    3. 03

      Carrier estimate issued

Your insurer produces its own estimate for the damage.

    4. 04

      Estimate reviewed

We compare that estimate against what is physically on the vehicle.

    5. 05

      Supplement if needed

Additional eligible damage is documented for the carrier to consider.

    6. 06

      Repair completed

Work proceeds once the claim position is settled.

    7. 07

      Final inspection

Repaired panels are re-lit and checked before the vehicle is returned.

Coverage, deductibles and claim decisions are determined by your insurance policy and your carrier. We document the damage and review the estimate; we do not approve claims, guarantee outcomes or waive deductibles.

    Questions

Denver paintless dent repair questions, answered

Cost, hail damage, insurance claims and what actually qualifies for PDR. More detail on the FAQ page.

Paintless dent repair is a method of removing dents without repainting the panel. A technician reads the damage under reflection lighting, then reaches behind the panel with specialised rods, or uses glue-pull tools from the outside, and works the metal back to its original shape in small controlled movements. Because nothing is filled, sanded or sprayed, the factory paint stays on the car. PDR is the core of what we do at our Denver shop, and it is the reason hail and door ding work usually looks like the damage was never there.

Cost depends on how many dents there are, how large and deep they are, which panel they sit on and how easily we can reach the back of that panel. A single door ding is a very different job from a hood covered in hail impacts. Rather than quote a number blind, we assess the damage from photographs or in person and give you a written price before any work begins. Estimates are free and there is no obligation to book.

Colorado Dent Solutions repairs hail damage at 7280 Gilpin Way, Unit 290, in north Denver, and serves drivers across the metro including Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster and Thornton. We map every affected panel, count the impacts by size band and produce a written record you can use with your insurer. Free vehicle pickup and return is available for qualifying repairs.

Hail is normally handled under the comprehensive portion of an auto policy rather than collision, so drivers who carry comprehensive coverage are often covered subject to their deductible. Coverage, deductibles and claim approval are decided by your carrier under the terms of your policy, not by us. What we do is document the damage properly, review the estimate your carrier writes and submit supplements for any additional eligible damage we find. Our insurance claim help pages walk through the process carrier by carrier.

In most cases, yes. Where the paint is unbroken and the metal has not been overstretched, hail dents can be reshaped from behind the panel and the original finish is preserved. That matters for resale, because a vehicle still wearing its factory paint reads better than one with refinished panels. If a panel has cracked paint or a split, we will tell you plainly that it needs conventional body work instead.

A single door ding or small dent is often finished the same day, subject to appointment availability. A full hail repair with damage across the roof, hood, trunk and doors usually takes longer because every panel is worked individually and some require trim or headliner access. Once your damage has been mapped we give you a realistic duration, and we do not quote a timeline before we have seen the vehicle.

Yes, within limits. Door ding repair and minor dent repair are the most straightforward cases. Crease repair and body-line dents take longer because the metal is stretched along a line and has to be relaxed gradually. Large dent repair is possible when the paint is intact and the back of the panel can be reached, though sharp creases sometimes finish as a substantial improvement rather than a complete removal. We tell you which category your damage falls into before starting.

Three things decide it: whether the paint is cracked or chipped, whether the metal has stretched, and whether we can reach the back of the panel. The fastest way to find out is to send photographs, one wide shot of the whole panel plus two or three close shots taken at a low angle with light reflecting across the surface. A flat straight-on photograph hides almost all dent damage. We will give you an honest read, including telling you when a body shop is the better answer.
